The 9-story office complex Haus Am Domplatz (HAD) neatly picks up the expressionist brick building style of the area. Situated right next to the headquarters of major publishing outlet DIE ZEIT, and right on the spot where no less than 1.200 years ago Hamburg’s eponymous lowland castle Hammaburg was erected, the HAD is being built by Allianz Lebensversicherung alongside architects APB. Architekten.
The building is supposed to be completed by end of 2019, with a gross floor space of up to 11.000 square meters. More renderings like the one above as well as stunning 3D animation can be found on the projects official website.
